As the Spring 2025 CCOP internship comes to a close, the interns gave their final presentations. For most of them, this internship was their first time doing research, and the end-of-session talks were a chance to show everything they’ve learned over the past few months.
The end-of-session talks built off their mid session presentations, but it was clear how much they’d grown since then. Some had new data, some had new questions, and others had just gotten better at explaining their research. It was a chance to celebrate how far they’ve come.
What stood out wasn’t just the research, but how each intern talked about what they learned, what interested them, and what they are curious about next. The talks displayed their dedication, progress, and the experience of learning science by doing.

After the talks, Rue Moe, one of the returning interns in the cohort, was awarded the CCOP Excellence in Research 2025 Award in recognition of her dedication for the past months she has been a part of CCOP.

Following the presentations, returning interns Rue, Kyi, and Hannah presented posters summarizing the research they’ve been working on throughout their time at Stanford. It was a great way to close out the session and give them a chance to share their projects in a more depth, gave room for discussion, and created a space for everyone to celebrate the end of the quarter over food and drinks.

As the program wraps up, we’re incredibly proud of the Spring 2025 cohort. They came in with curiosity and a wanting to learn, and they are leaving with a deeper understanding of what research can look like.
Thank you to all the mentors, labs, and supporters who made this quarter possible. And congrats to interns Muzhda, Veronica, Vanshika, Sane, James, Nora, Kyi, Rue, and Hannah!
